Serie Diario

Porque sou coisa nenhuma, nada, nada
tão nada quanto o nada pode ser
sou só coisa arriza, desfolhada
da própria humanidade: não sei viver.

Mortalha de uma paixão descarnada
Amor nao tenho, Amor não tenho a haver
porque sendo breve, frágil, nada, nada
não me vês: e não posso acontecer.

Porque sou o nada, o zero absoluto;
o nulo, o vazio: a morada da ausência,
de éter, de pranto, de luto trespassada,

sou apenas a soma do nada, o produto

Hey Diddle Diddle

Hey diddle diddle,
The cat and the fiddle,
The cow jumped over the moon.
The little dog laughed to see such fun,
And the dish ran away with the spoon.

The Three Fates

The Three Fates, Oil on canvas (61 x76 cm), 2007

In Roman mythology, the Parcae were the personifications of destiny (often called The Fates in English). Their Greek equivalent were the Moirae. They controlled the metaphorical thread of life of every mortal and immortal from birth to death. Even the gods feared the Parcae. Jupiter also was subject to their power.
The names of the three Parcae were:
Nona - spun the thread of life from her distaff onto her spindle. Her Greek equivalent was Clotho;
Decima - measured the thread of life with her rod. Her Greek equivalent was Lachesis;
Morta - was the cutter of the thread of life. She chose the manner of a person's death. When she cut the thread with "her abhorrèd shears", someone on Earth died. Her Greek equivalent was Atropos.
